Find what you already paid to produce.
Send us one folder of your own footage. We index it, transcribe it, and hand back an archive you can search by what was said and by what was on screen. Vaultline builds the full version of this on production teams’ own storage. This is that same software, running free for a week, on your material.
How it works.
You send us a folder
Drag one project folder into the browser. We keep your folder structure, so what comes back is organised the way you already work. Camera-original .mp4, .mov and .m4v, clips up to five minutes.
We do the slow part
Reading the files, making them playable in a browser, working out what is in them and writing down what was said. It takes a while, and none of it runs on your machine, so close the tab and come back to it finished.
You search it
The same console as above, with your own material in it. Find the shot by describing it, or by a phrase somebody says in it.
It is free, there is no card, and we clear everything out after a week so your footage is not sitting on our disks. Nothing is installed on your machine, and nobody is going to ring you.
For visual tagging, extracted still frames from your video are sent to Anthropic’s API. Audio, transcripts, and whole video files are not sent to Anthropic for that tagging step.
What this actually is.
What we do is build a media system for a team and put it on that team's own infrastructure, shaped around how they already work. It runs on their storage, holds their whole library, and is theirs.
This is not that system, and it is not a cut-down version of it for sale. It is a small, free, temporary one we run for you, so that instead of reading about what a searchable archive would do for your library, you can watch it do it to your own footage. Then you know whether the real thing is worth a conversation.
Try it on something real.
One project folder is enough. Use footage you actually have to dig through, because that is the material the answer depends on.
