Risk Free Archive Pilot

Build before you buy.

We build your Media Nexus archive first, on the storage you already have and against your real media. You watch it run on your own footage. Then you decide.

$0 upfront · $4,669 if you keep it · no invoice if you walk away

Tell us who you are.

The next page is the intake: about 15 minutes on how media moves through your team. There is no checkout.

$0 upfront. $4,669 if you keep it. Nothing if you walk away.
  • 01

Read-only indexing. Originals stay where they are.

  • 02

Your volumes, your projects, your naming. Not sample data.

  • 03

No card on this page, and none after the intake.

Media Nexus search results for the query: audio where someone talks about the ocean and the forest. Each result is a transcript moment from a clip, with the exact quote, timecode, thumbnail, and an Open moment button.
A running Media Nexus, not a rendering. Yours carries your volumes, your projects and your naming.
The offer

Every custom system is a bet until it runs.

Paying for software you have never used is the bet nobody wants to make.

So we build yours first.

Media Nexus, on the storage you already have, indexed against your real media.

$0 upfront. $4,669 if you keep it. No invoice if you walk away.

Decide after the walkthrough, not before it.

Start the free build The standard Archive Pilot, built first so you can see it before you pay. Deployment, configuration, installation, orientation, 90 days of stabilisation.
What you get

See it run on your footage, not on a demo.

Real screens from a running Media Nexus. The one we build for you carries your volumes, your projects and your naming.

Find the moment by what was said.

Every clip is transcribed and tagged on hardware you control, so a plain-language search opens the exact timecode.

Plays in a browser while the drive is on a shelf.

Managed proxies and frame grabs mean a clip scrubs while the original volume is offline.

Media Nexus asset detail panel for an archival reel: a proxy playing while the source is offline, frame grabs, and file details including volume, folder, codec, resolution, and size.

Your volumes, by their real names, online or not.

Media Nexus knows which volume holds each file and whether it is connected right now.

Media Nexus Library view listing storage volumes, one offline RAID and one connected external drive, with the project folders on each.
How it works

Four steps. The invoice, if there is one, comes last.

The intake is how we learn the operation. Nothing on this path asks for a card.

  1. 01Start the intake

Name and work email here, then about 15 minutes on how media moves through your team. A draft saves on this device.

  2. 02Fit review

We read your answers and follow up. If it is a fit, we schedule the build. If it is not, we say so.

  3. 03We build it

The Archive Pilot is configured around storage you already have and indexed against your real media. Media stays where it is.

  4. 04The walkthrough, then your decision

You watch it run on your footage. Keep it and we invoice $4,669. Walk away and there is no invoice.

Built for in-house content, video and creative teams with a real library on storage they own or control, and real friction finding, moving or reusing it. Find the shot without asking the one person who remembers where it is.

A system you own. Not a subscription you rent.

Vaultline is a service. We build you a custom system you own forever, around the storage you already have, and we keep building on it.

  • Ownership and independence

You own the system. Nothing is rented, nothing is held hostage.

  • Originals stay where they are

Media Nexus indexes approved storage read-only and never renames, moves or deletes originals. Transcription and tagging run on hardware you control.

  • Not a demo

It is your Media Nexus, indexed against your real media, with your volumes, projects and naming. Nothing staged on sample footage.

  • No payment on this path

Nothing to pay to start, no card on this page and none after the intake. Payment exists only if you later keep the Archive Pilot.

After the archive

The archive is the base for everything after.

Unlocked creative potential: a team that can find, play, move and reuse what it already made spends its time making, not hunting.

Review and post production

Review and approvals stop living in chat, and post gets the structure it works from.

Next

Drive tracking and backup protection

Copies you can account for, and drives whose contents you know without plugging them in.

Next

Remote access and automation

Our own managed remote access system, and the operational steps a person should not be repeating.

Each of these is scoped and priced per build, after the archive. Recurring care exists if you want it, and it is never required.

Before you start

Questions, answered plainly.

Is this the paid Media Operations Blueprint?

No. This is not a paid Blueprint, and it is not the free guide. The Blueprint is a separate written diagnosis. This page is the Risk Free Archive Pilot: we build the system first, on your storage, and you decide after it runs.

What do we pay?

Nothing to start. If you keep the system, the Archive Pilot keep price is $4,669, and it buys your Media Nexus archive deployed on one approved storage environment, configured to your naming, folders, search fields and handoff, installed on hardware you control, an operator orientation, and 90 days of stabilisation. Walk away and there is no invoice.

What happens to our footage?

It stays on storage you control. Media Nexus indexes approved storage read-only and never renames, moves or deletes originals. Transcription and tagging run on hardware you control.

Will we be asked for a card?

Not on this page and not after the intake. Payment exists only if you later keep the Archive Pilot.

What does the intake ask?

The same operational questions we use to scope a real build: where media lives, how it moves, who touches it, and what costs the most time. About 15 minutes. A draft saves on this device, so you can stop and come back.

What do we need to provide?

Read access to the storage you want indexed, a Mac to run it on (or we help you specify one), and someone who can make the keep-or-walk-away decision after the walkthrough.
